7/1よりHeliohostelsapporoの灯台珈琲にてSKIM MILKさんの個展「STREET IS YOURS」を開催しております。
From 1 July, we have been hosting SKIM MILK’s solo exhibition, ‘STREET IS YOURS’, at the Lighthouse Café at Heliohostelsapporo.
「STREET YOURS」
原点回帰の想いを込めて、どうしてもSTREETのワードを使いたくこの個展名に至る。
ストリートカルチャーを背景に、スプレーを使った表現を取り入れながら、線や色、カタチを表現している。
I chose this title for the solo exhibition because I wanted to incorporate the word “STREET,” reflecting a desire to return to my roots.
Drawing on street culture and utilizing spray-paint textures, I explore the expression of lines, colors, and shapes.
「牧おこし」にも来てくれ、その時にうちのホステルを見て個展をやりたいと声をかけて頂きました。
He also came to ‘Maki Okoshi’, and whilst he was there, he took a look at our hostel and approached us about holding a solo exhibition.
多種多様な直線と曲線と鮮やかなカラーがとても印象的な作品。
存在感が人の目を惹く作品ばかりです。
Heliohostelsapporoとしてもこの規模での個展は初めてで、店内がたくさんの作品に囲まれ、雰囲気も変わりました♪
These works are truly striking, featuring a diverse array of straight lines, curves and vibrant colours.
Every piece has a strong presence that really catches the eye.
This is the first solo exhibition of this scale that Heliohostelsapporo has hosted, and with the venue now filled with so many works, the atmosphere has taken on a whole new feel♪
