お客様をお迎えする暖簾が夏仕様に変わりました！
日本特有の四季をモチーフに今回もMARTONに仕上げてもらいました。
The noren that welcomes our customers has been changed to a summer design!
Once again, we asked MARTON to create it, using Japan’s distinctive four seasons as the theme.
今回のコンセプトも素敵に考えてくれました。
They’ve come up with another lovely concept for this one too.

◽️[ HELIOの木 – 夏 ] メインビジュアルについて [ HELIO’s Tree – Summer ] About the Main Visual

[ HELIO HOSTEL = エリオの木 ] には季節によって沢山の花が咲き、そこに人々や動物が集まります。
[ 春 ]の暖簾には美しい [ 桜 ] を咲かせ、エリオの木(ホステル)で繰り返し生まれる 「出会いと別れ 」を表現しました。
At [ HELIO HOSTEL = The Helio Tree ], a profusion of flowers blooms with the changing seasons, attracting people and animals alike.
The [ spring ] noren features beautiful [ cherry blossoms ], symbolising the ‘meetings and partings’ that occur time and again at the Helio Tree (hostel).

そして[ 夏 ] の暖簾。
夏の[ エリオの木 ]には、”ひまわり”を中心に美しい夏の植物達が咲き誇ります。
And the [Summer] noren.
In summer, the [Elio Tree] is ablaze with beautiful summer flowers, with ‘sunflowers’ taking centre stage.
ひまわりは「太陽（HELIOS）の花（ANTHOS）」まさに太陽を意味する”エリオ”の象徴となる花。
The sunflower is ‘the flower (ANTHOS) of the sun (HELIOS)’—a flower that symbolises ‘Helios’, which literally means ‘the sun’.
常に太陽(エリオ)に向かって真っ直ぐに咲くひまわりのように、世界中からの旅人が自然とこの [ エリオ ] に集まり、明るくポジティブなエネルギーを受け取ってほしいという願いを込めています。
Just as sunflowers always bloom facing the sun (Elio), we hope that travellers from all over the world will naturally gather here at [Elio] and be filled with bright, positive energy.
夏の背景のカラーに選んだのはロビンズエッグブルーです。
夏の日差しの中を訪れる旅人たちが、暖簾を見た瞬間に視覚からも「涼」を感じてもらいたいという思いを込めています。
We have chosen robin’s egg blue as the colour for the summer background.
Our hope is that travellers passing by in the summer sunshine will feel a sense of ‘coolness’ the moment they catch sight of the noren.

女性達は春とまた装いも変わり、涼しげな夏らしい着物でそれぞれの[ エリオの木 ]を楽しむ。
With the arrival of spring, the women change their attire once more and enjoy their respective [Elio Trees] in cool, summery kimonos.
エリオの木に座って [ 灯台珈琲 ]を楽しみ寛ぐ女性。

鳥が運んだ風鈴で、涼やかな日本の夏を楽しむ女性。

全世界から訪れる人達にエリオ ホステルをそれぞれの楽しみ方で心地よく利用してほしい。
We hope that visitors from all over the world will find their stay at Elio Hostel a comfortable one, enjoying it in their own way.
またこのデザインを通して日本、札幌の心地よい夏、そしてエリオホステルの良さを感じてもらいたい。
We also hope that, through this design, you will get a sense of the pleasant summers in Sapporo, Japan, and the charm of the Elio Hostel.
そんな想いをデザインに込めて頂きました。
They have incorporated those sentiments into the design.
